The role emphasizes safeguarding property, responding to incidents, and maintaining logs. 1+ year security experience, HS diploma, and background check are required; drug screening is also part of the process.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A background investigation is required by law.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by following site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Monitor the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, coordinate with building staff, and provide information on building access and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and lobby activity, report suspicious activity, and complete incident reports.
