Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee in Douglasville, GA to learn and perform sales, merchandising and store operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills with the goal of advancing to Store Manager.

The role includes coaching Teammates, managing showroom displays, customer service, loss prevention, and daily store operations as part of a structured trainee program. On-site position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel and cover other stores within district as required.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, build client relationships, and achieve sales goals.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: assist in coaching Teammates, participate in interviews, train teammates and set up visual displays.
• Operations: maintain schedule flexibility, complete store opening/closing procedures, follow Buckle policies, ensure loss prevention practices.
• Supervisory and Leadership: assist Store Manager, supervise teammates in absence of manager, lead team meetings, and manage onboarding paperwork.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred; or 1-3 months related retail experience
