Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Management Trainee for our on-site store in Louisiana. The role supports store management by performing sales, merchandising and operational tasks, and working with the Store Manager to develop leadership and recruiting skills to become Store Manager.

The trainee will share responsibility for training teammates, lead in the Store Manager’s absence, and travel within the district as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; retail experience or training acceptable.
• No visa sponsorship is available.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel, including overnight.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with friendly service and assist with merchandise.
• Lead training and motivation of teammates, and cover as Store Manager.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing alongside the Store Manager.
• Maintain store standards, loss prevention, and inventory controls.
• Travel to cover other stores within the district as needed.
• Prepare opening/closing procedures and deposit handling.
