Job summary

Buckle in Kansas is seeking a Management Trainee to learn and perform a wide range of sales, merchandising, and operational duties under store management. You will work directly with the Store Manager to develop leadership, sales, and recruiting skills to prepare for a Store Manager role.

You will also share responsibility for training Teammates, motivating the team, and stepping in as Store Manager when needed, contributing to Buckle’s mission and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or 1–3 months related retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop Teammates and lead in store operations.
• Excellent guest service, communication, and collaboration with management and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales generation and guest service initiatives to meet store goals.
• Recruit, train, and develop Teammates to perform Buckle standards.
• Act as Store Manager in absence and supervise daily operations and tasks.
• Coordinate with District/Area Manager and Corporate Office for effective store operation.
• Maintain loss prevention practices and uphold store standards and policies.
