Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support our mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.

You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandising, and operations, mentor Teammates, recruit and train new staff, and act as Store Manager in their absence. This role progresses from AIT and grows with added responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service
• Answer questions about store and merchandise
• Recommend, locate, and help obtain merchandise based on Guest needs
• Lead by example with showmanship and excellent customer service
• Coach teammates and lead training and development in daily operations
• Assist Store Manager in recruitment of staffing needs and onboarding
• Oversee sales goals, visual standards, and daily performance metrics
• Execute leadership actions and maintain high standards in the absence of the Manager
• Manage Buckle's training playbook and zone ownership to drive performance
• Maintain store operations including planning, opening/closing, and loss prevention
