Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help lead and develop Teammates in delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role works closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, merchandising, and store operations while training new teammates and ensuring standards are met.

The position progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager with additional leadership duties, supporting recruitment, coaching, and performance tracking in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Buckle’s mission by delivering excellent guest experiences and leadership in-store.
• Assist with recruiting, training and developing Teammates.
• Lead by example in sales and customer service while managing daily store operations.
• Support Store Manager and Leadership Team in achieving sales goals and store performance.
• Demonstrate ownership of store metrics and visual standards.
• Coordinate and implement training and onboarding for new Teammates.
• Assist in merchandising, display, and inventory tasks.
• Provide guidance and feedback to Teammates to improve performance.
