Job summary

Target Stores Executive Leadership internship is a paid program that runs 40 hours per week, designed to develop and prepare you for store leadership roles. Interns will work closely with managers to learn how Target’s retail business runs and how to deliver exceptional guest service.

As an Executive Intern, you will lead teams, drive priorities, and participate in mentoring sessions to grow leadership and operational skills within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Interest in learning leadership in retail management.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily priorities on the sales floor and in backroom to align the team with daily goals.
• Work with your mentor and leadership to understand roles and responsibilities of store leaders.
• Plan daily goals and organize activities to support business priorities and guest service.
• Assist in leading guest interactions and delivering a high-quality shopping experience.
