Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead customer service and manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings and policy adherence.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, rotating, and display building.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scans and paperwork.
• Support planograms and ensure merchandise presentation per direction.
• Ensure cash handling integrity: refunds, deposits, and cash controls; deposits to bank.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
