Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) to work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team in Farmington, NM. You will drive sales, lead Teammates, recruit new staff, and develop talent while ensuring exceptional guest service and merchandise presentation.

You will participate in training and assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence, contributing to store performance and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related retail experience or training, or equivalent.
• Customer service mindset with leadership potential.
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in customer service, sales goals and store presentation.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates to meet Buckle standards.
• Oversee visual merchandising and zone ownership with the Manager.
• Ensure operations: POS, security, openings/closings, and Loss Prevention.
• Provide leadership in absence of Store Manager; travel to cover other stores if needed.
