Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Farmington, NM is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help deliver the company's mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests.

You'll work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team on sales, merchandising, and daily operations. This role develops leadership, trains Teammates, recruits, and may step in as Store Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet guests, answer questions, recommend merchandise, and achieve sales goals.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: recruit, train, and motivate teammates; collaborate with store management.
• Visual Merchandise Management: own and maintain visual standards and zone ownership.
• Operations: manage opening/closing, loss prevention, and store policies.
• Supervisory and Leadership: provide feedback, lead by example, and mentor teammates.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: assist the Store Manager in supervising.
• Education And/or Experience: high school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related retail experience or equivalent.
