Job summary

Buckle in Concord, NC is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support store leadership, drive sales and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will train Teammates, manage operations, and help recruit talent while maintaining high visual standards and customer service excellence.

The role evolves from AIT to Assistant Manager with added leadership duties; you will collaborate with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to meet store goals and coach the team daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience preferred, with leadership exposure.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and store leadership.
• Lead training and development of Teammates; mentor and coach team.
• Drive sales by delivering legendary customer service and product knowledge.
• Recruit and onboard new Teammates; maintain performance standards.
• Oversee merchandise presentation, staging, and store displays.
• Implement loss prevention and safety procedures across floor and backroom.
• Manage scheduling, openings/closings, and daily housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Buckle policies and store guidelines.
