Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager in our Bismarck, ND store to drive guest service, sales and store operations.

You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit Teammates and provide leadership, with training responsibilities shared across roles. This role expands from the AIT position with higher-level duties, requiring a hands-on leader who can motivate teammates, model showmanship, manage merchandise, and uphold

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and train Teammates.
• Flexible schedule including mornings/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver legendary guest service across the store areas: front, floor, fitting rooms and register.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates; assist Store Manager in leadership duties.
• Oversee visual merchandising and product presentation aligned with brand standards.
• Support store operations, loss prevention, planning, and staffing to achieve business goals.
• Conduct interviews and coach team members to improve performance.
