Carter's in Orlando is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will lead a team, welcome customers, and promote our baby essentials and school readiness lines.

You will assist the Store Manager in staffing, training, and developing the team, while analyzing KPIs and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-service environment on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.
• Proficient computer skills with Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Lead and coach the team to meet service standards and KPIs.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report tasks and financial results with company tools.
• Partner with Store Manager on merchandising, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through service, education, and operational controls.
