Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them with our baby essentials, and support store leadership to drive sales and deliver an inclusive, high-service environment.

The role requires leadership, coaching, and teamwork. You will participate in recruiting and training, manage schedules, and analyze KPIs to improve results while maintaining brand standards and a safe store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while maintaining service standards across omnichannel experiences.
• Analyze the business and drive improvements by communicating KPIs with the team.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and developing store staff.
• Plan and report on merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Reduce loss through exceptional customer service and operational controls.
