Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia seeks a Supervisory leader to run a retail location, donation site and in-store production facility. In the absence of store leadership, you will direct associates to meet goals and model professionalism.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and about 1 year of leadership experience, with a criminal background check. Base pay is $16.50 per hour for full-time work in Richmond, VA, with evenings/weekends possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; will consider a combination of education and work experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• No professional certifications required.
• Driver's license not required for this position.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Runs store operations in the absence of the store and assistant manager, including front end and production areas.
• Monitors progress of associates toward goals, including production and Round Up metrics.
• Participates in production to meet store goals as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and visual merchandising standards; models customer service excellence.
• Promotes Goodwill standards of customer service both internally and externally.
• Assists management with onboarding, meetings, check-ins and appraisals.
• Solicits and acts on customer and associate feedback.
