Amazon is seeking a Retail Lead Associate in Avon, CT. You will be the face of Amazon, handling customer service operations and floor leadership responsibilities while contributing to a culture of customer obsession and continuous learning.

Role requires open availability and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long shifts. Starting pay is $19.70/hr with benefits available and a typical 30–39 hour work week.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• 1+ year retail or customer-facing experience or 1+ year leadership or 1+ year Amazon experience.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with customers using engagement strategies and model desired behavior for the team.
• Utilize inventory systems to scan, process, and count products.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback and escalate issues to assist peers in resolving customer problems.
• Contribute to improving customer experience and operations by adopting best practices.
• Identify barriers and trends affecting customer and associate experience and assist manager in building a strong site culture.
• Maintain physical safety and quality standards with a manager.
• Work in a fast-changing and ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
