Amazon is seeking a Retail Lead Associate in Westport, CT to be the face of Amazon at the Locker+ location. You will lead customer service operations, engage customers with best practices, and support a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires open availability Sun-Thu, 7:45-16:15, lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long shifts. Starting pay is $20.50/hour with benefits and potential overtime and shift differentials where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 49 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Interact with customers using engagement strategies and model desired behavior for the team.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback and assist peers in solving customer issues where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience and operations by developing best practices.
• Help identify barriers and trends affecting customer and associate experience and support the manager in maintaining site culture.
• Work with a manager to maintain safety and quality standards on site.
• Work in a fast changing and ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
