Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Westport, CT is seeking a Retail Lead Associate (Full-Time) to be the face of Amazon and support Customer Experience Operations by guiding floor activity and delivering outstanding service.

This role requires open availability Sunday to Thursday, 7:45–16:15, averages 40 hours weekly, and pays at least $20.35 per hour with benefits.

You will learn and apply inventory systems, help with team training, and uphold safety and quality standards while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years in retail or customer facing roles, or leadership/training experience or Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers using engagement strategies and model expected behavior.
• Utilize inventory systems to scan, process, and count product.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback and help peers solve issues.
• Contribute to improving customer experience and site practices.
• Identify barriers affecting customer and associate experience; support leadership.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
• Adapt to a fast-changing and ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts.
