Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Customer Experience & Outreach in Annapolis, MD. You will lead sales and service programs, coach associates, and drive customer acquisition, retention and loyalty through engaging initiatives and hands-on leadership.

You'll manage scheduling, analyze KPIs, and ensure brand standards while collaborating with the Store Leader to execute plans, promotions, and store initiatives that elevate the guest experience and revenue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices
• Full-Time roles: Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Store Leader, manage workload and ensure execution of plans and strategies across the store and in assigned area.
• Establish and communicate critical metrics and expectations within the store, including sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling and training.
• Coach and develop store associates to encourage professional growth and build a bench of talent.
• Promote and drive sales as they pertain to the Leader on Duty (LOD).
• Collaborate during new season planning and execution.
• Analyze results through reporting and translate numbers into actionable goals to improve KPI results.
• Ensure customers receive gracious, quick and efficient service and model excellent service.
• Communicate with management on sales, customer feedback/traffic and associate training/performance; participate in weekly store walk-throughs.
