Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a part-time Sales Lead for our CA retail location. You will work with the Store Manager to run daily operations, handle POS, inventory, and donations, and provide exceptional service to customers and donors.

Required are a High School diploma, at least 1 year of retail experience, and the ability to supervise in the absence of management. A background check is mandatory to comply with policy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role with the Store Manager in daily store operations (opening/closing, POS, inventory, donations).
• Assumes day-to-day operations in the absence of Store/Assistant Manager.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive store sales and profitability as budgeted.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage and lead daily meetings; coach and develop team.
• Ensure high levels of customer and donor satisfaction and maintain good community relations.
• Protect store currency, inventory and property and ensure security protocols.
