Job summary

Boot Barn in Texas is seeking a Part Time or Full Time Key Holder to lead customer service, drive sales, and support store operations. You will develop staff, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure accurate POS transactions while upholding Boot Barn’s values.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, leadership skills, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Travel to nearby stores may be required as part of collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Be informed of current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist floor moves, displays and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and replenish floor stock.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately at POS.]
• Partner with store leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Adhere to opening/closing procedures and Time & Attendance policies.
• Comply with local, state, and company policies.
