TJX Companies, Inc. in Old Saybrook, CT is hiring a Key Carrier who will alternate duties with Coordinators, lead store tasks, and provide exceptional customer service. Open availability nights and weekends is required.

You will coach associates, ensure opening/closing procedures, and support management in achieving store goals. TJX offers a broad benefits package and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines.
• Addresses customer service issues and coaches Associates.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs.
• Promotes safety, shrink reduction goals, and adherence to labor laws.
