Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Towson, MD is seeking a Key Carrier to support store leadership and customer service excellence. This role alternates with the Coordinator role, requiring open availability including nights and weekends.

You’ll model outstanding service and help manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include coaching Associates, maintaining store procedures, and ensuring safety and compliance.

• Ability to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures and opening/closing procedures.
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates.
