Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in USA (New York, Wainscott) is seeking a Key Carrier who will alternate duties with the Coordinator role, stepping into a leadership position to maintain store operations, customer service, and policy adherence.

Availability including nights and weekends is required. You will coach Associates, manage openings and closings, and ensure adherence to labor laws and company procedures while delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedures.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage for a positive customer experience.
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
