Job summary

Da Vien Coffee is seeking an IT Technician to support store technology and systems, maintaining in-store devices, network connectivity, and automation workflows. The role covers backend systems, Toast POS integrations, and cross‑location reliability in a fast-paced environment.

We value problem solving, clear communication, and the ability to document processes. This part-time, in-person position in California requires up to 50% travel between local locations and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience required; on-site support preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Basic understanding of IT fundamentals: hardware, software, networking concepts
• Familiarity with Windows environments and ability to navigate system settings
• Exposure to networking concepts including Wi-Fi setup and basic network structure
• Familiarity with IP addressing and IP configuration on devices
• Familiarity with Ticketing systems and ticketing best practices
• Understanding of basic network troubleshooting tools and commands (e.g., command prompt, ping)
• Interest or exposure to scripting, automation, or programming concepts is a plus
• CompTIA A+ certification or working toward certification is a plus
• Valid California driver's license (required)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across retail locations
• Set up and configure devices, Wi‑Fi networks, and POS-related systems
• Maintain and monitor backend systems integrated with Toast POS
• Diagnose connectivity issues utilizing basic network tools (e.g. ping, IP configuration)
• Support documentation of systems, processes, and SOPs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational or technical issues
• Support basic scripting or automation tasks (e.g., Power Automate workflows)
• Test and deploy system updates, tools, or process improvements
• Provide support to frontline teams by translating technical issues into clear, actionable steps
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues when needed
• Support projects to improve business processes and workflow consistency across store locations
