Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking an IT Field Operations Technician to support installation, maintenance, and operation of Micro Market, Vending, Cafeteria, and Office Coffee Service technology platforms. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting in the field and delivering exceptional customer support.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or technical certification, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of networking, cabling, and retail technology systems.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, networking, and wireless connectivity.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
Must consent to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support kiosks, camera systems, DVRs, wireless devices, and networking equipment at Micro Market locations.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless systems, and retail technology hardware.
Configure customer network connections and coordinate with customer IT teams as needed.
Complete technical service calls and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
Monitor active locations through software portals to ensure systems remain operational.
Support technology across Micro Markets, Vending, Cafeteria, and Office Coffee Service operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of installed equipment, wireless devices, and network configurations.
Process warranty claims, parts replacements, and equipment returns.
Assist with site surveys and new account installations.
Communicate customer concerns and opportunities for improvement to management.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
