Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in New York is seeking an Operations Associate to maintain store inventory and stock areas per company standards, minimize stock loss, and safeguard assets. The role involves organizing records, ordering supplies, housekeeping, and following inventory control procedures.

The position requires handling receiving operations, accurate documentation, and collaboration with central distribution while supporting merchandising and price changes in the boutique.

Qualifications

• Experience handling receiving operations and merchandise handling.
• Strong written and spoken communication, organization and follow-through skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately for documentation.
• Ability to process information through computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shipping/receiving functions affecting store inventory are accurate and efficient.
• Maintain orderly stock/receiving area; ensure merchandise is ticketed and sensored.
• Process inbound freight, RTVs, chargebacks, transfers, and damages per policy.
• Support compliance with receiving practices and safekeeping of funds and property.
• Ensure stock is security tagged to prevent loss.
• Communicate with central distribution or inventory control.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist floor moves, merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Assist with price changes in boutique.
• Assist packing/wrapping customers’ merchandise as needed.
• Help solve problems and improve receiving area productivity.
• Comply with all policies; participate in meetings and training.
• Other tasks as assigned by managers.
