Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in New York City is seeking an Operations Associate to safeguard store assets and manage inventory in alignment with LVMH standards. You will maintain stock areas, ticketing, and security tagging while supporting efficient receiving and merchandising operations.

You will handle inbound freight, RTVs, and transfers, participate in cycle counts, and help with pricing changes and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle receiving operations and merchandise handling.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately.
• Ability to process information through computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shipping/receiving functions affecting inventory are accurate and efficient.
• Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas; ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and sensor-tagged.
• Process inbound freight, RTVs, chargebacks, transfers and damages per policy.
• Support receiving compliance with policies including safekeeping of funds and property.
• Ensure stock is security-tagged to prevent loss.
• Communicate with central distribution or inventory control.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Assist in price changes within the boutique.
• Assist in packing/wrapping customers’ merchandise when needed.
• Help solve problems and improve service and productivity in receiving area.
