Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, or related field preferred
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
• Professional certifications such as CRCM, CAMS, CISA, CIA, CRMA or related designation are assets
• 12+ years of banking/operational risk management, internal controls, compliance, audit, or related disciplines
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-scale programs

Responsibilities

• Lead the Retail Distribution Internal Quality Controls framework across the U.S. retail network
• Develop and implement the internal controls strategy aligned to risk appetite
• Identify, assess, monitor, and remediate control gaps with compliance, risk, audit teams
• Establish branch control standards, policies and procedures
• Oversee risk controls and remediation for audit findings across locations
