Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to provide consultative design services, meeting with customers, listening to their project needs, educating them on all requirements, and building a concept that fits personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Greet customers, schedule appointments, advise on tile/wood/stone, and design and sell complete solutions while managing multiple projects with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accurate, timely communication and follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
