Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Design Consultant to deliver on-site design services in our showroom, listening to customer needs and crafting concepts that fit style, lifestyle, and budget. You will greet customers, book appointments, and guide projects from concept to completion.

You will advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories, build a new clientele, and leverage Salesforce and design tools to ensure accurate, timely results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking, referrals and store leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers and builders.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy, timeliness and follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
• Engage in current and emerging design trends.
• Utilize design applications such as Salesforce, Online Design Scheduler, MyProject.
