Job summary

POP MART is seeking an Insurance & Risk Coordinator in Culver City to support insurance procurement, COI management, and risk mitigation for a growing retail footprint. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners to ensure lease compliance and smooth store openings.

The role emphasizes broker relationship management, COI administration, and the development of risk protocols while supporting claims coordination and ongoing audits across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance coordination, risk management, or retail operations.
• Familiarity with GL, Property, Auto, Excess, Workers' Compensation insurance types.
• Experience managing COIs and understanding of additional insured requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end insurance procurement and renewal for retail locations.
• Evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective coverage.
• Maintain broker relationships; extract quotes and assess performance.
• Generate, track, and distribute COIs for landlords, vendors, and partners.
• Maintain centralized policy/COI database and ensure lease compliance.
• Coordinate with store ops, brokers, carriers, landlords and internal teams.
• Assist in risk management protocol development and incident analysis.
• Coordinate claims processes and develop basic SOPs for incident handling.
