Job summary

Warren Equipment Company in Abilene, TX seeks a Retail Development Specialist to drive product sales to business buyers and individuals through retail channels. You will manage CRM lists, pre-qualify leads, demonstrate products, discuss terms, and build long-term purchasing relationships.

You'll also prepare contracts, reports, and coordinate customer training while prospecting new business. A bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years' related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Ability to sell products and develop leads in high-volume calling.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to present effectively to groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Familiar with MS Word and Excel software.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Document lists of prospective customers using CRM from multiple sources.
• Pre-qualify leads and call regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
• Demonstrate products and emphasize features and benefits.
• Present prices and credit terms; prepare contracts.
• Prepare transaction reports and keep expense accounts.
• Coordinate with other Retail Development Specialists on activities.
• Coordinate customer training and enter new data into the CRM.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems.
• Prospect for new customers and market to existing ones by phone.
