Job summary

Toast, the leading POS platform for restaurateurs, is expanding into Toast Retail for convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. As a Retail Account Executive, you will join a founding team to prospect, build relationships, and sign new accounts in an assigned geographic territory.

You’ll run the full sales cycle, conduct demos, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure delivery matches expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in B2B or tech sales is a plus.
• Ability to travel 25%+.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops.
• Generate lists of prospective stores and manage the sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that meets the prospect’s needs.
• Partner with teams across the business to meet delivery expectations.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively.
