Job summary

Victra is seeking a General Manager in the Petersburg, VA area to lead guest experience and drive store performance. You will coach the team, own store results, and mentor the Assistant General Manager while implementing the company vision in day-to-day operations.

You will hire and develop top talent, manage staffing and scheduling, and communicate sales strategies. Experience in a commissions-based retail environment and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment
• 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, peak periods

Responsibilities

• Hire, interview, select and develop store personnel
• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve performance targets
• Coach the team on selling processes with Every Guest, Every Time
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing and loss prevention
• Own store metrics, budget, forecasting and reporting
