Job summary

Victra, the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States, seeks a General Manager who will shape guest experience and lead a high-performance team. You will coach your staff, drive sales targets, and manage day-to-day operations like budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor your Assistant General Manager, attend leadership calls, and own store results as the primary leader.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
• 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Balanced multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high performing team.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent.
• Build, develop, and mentor your sales team.
• Teach, coach, and reinforce the sales process with Every Guest, Every Time.
• Provide ongoing sales training and support to help your team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives.
• Take personal ownership of overall sales performance and key metrics.
• Ensure store employees meet defined monthly success measurements and complete training on time.
• Own store staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, and loss prevention.
• Keep score daily and adjust before gaps become missed targets.
• Engage in sales strategy development to showcase products and services.
• Run business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports.
