Job summary

Gap Inc. seeks a General Manager to lead a store team toward a profitable business plan and strong customer experience. You will drive sales growth across Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development, coaching the team to live the brand vision.

You will forecast, schedule, and manage the store budget, while building capable teams and enforcing SOPs. Travel and flexible hours may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results, identify opportunities and drive KPIs with leadership.
• Forecast and schedule to drive profitable sales.
• Manage store budget in support of the P&L.
• Build productive teams through sourcing and development.
• Coach performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Teach and train to build capabilities.
• Lead SOP implementation and initiatives.
• Create an inclusive environment.
• Maximize efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and represent the brand.
