Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead store teams, drive profitable growth, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will align the brand vision with day-to-day operations across Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development.

You will coach behaviors, ensure KPI attainment, and collaborate with leadership to execute strategic initiatives while maintaining strong store governance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proven track record delivering results.
• Strong communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes results, identifies opportunities and makes decisions in collaboration with the leadership team to drive KPIs.
• Forecasting and scheduling to drive profitable sales.
• Manages store budget for daily operations in support of the P&L.
• Builds productive teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Teaches and trains to build capabilities.
• Implements SOPs and initiatives.
• Creates an inclusive environment.
• Maximizes efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Performs Service Leader duties.
• Represents the brand and understands competitors.
• Promotes community involvement.
• Leverages OMNI to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensures all compliance standards are met.
