Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store team member in a Maryland location to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep the store well merchandised and in stock. Daily duties include assisting customers, promoting rewards, and supporting omnichannel initiatives such as BOPIS and SFS, while upholding store SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive, respectful image
