Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at Michaels Stores to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences. This role involves truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store standards to meet brand promises.

Ideal candidates will have retail or customer service experience, be able to stand for extended periods, and participate in rewards program enrollments and omni-channel activities such as BOPIS and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock levels; handle returns as needed.
• Support SISO and AD set duties; help shrink and safety programs.
