Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at our North Olmsted location to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience and drive loyalty. You will train associates on front-line execution of all register transactions and support a team environment on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include cash handling, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring safety and policy compliance while supporting multiple store areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Able to run a register/handle money.
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a highly-satisfied customer experience and drive loyalty.
• Train and mentor Associates on policies, procedures and frontline execution.
• Maintain cash controls and handle register transactions with accuracy.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the frontline and sales floor.
• Coordinate breaks and coverage to optimize staffing at peak times.
