Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. This role includes cross-training on cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed.

The position emphasizes a friendly, safe, and efficient shopping environment, with responsibilities ranging from stocking to handling cash transactions and ensuring store integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.*
