Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You’ll be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes a clean, welcoming shopping environment, safe handling of merchandise, and friendly interactions with customers and team members. A high school diploma is preferred; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Providing a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
