Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from stocking shelves to assisting customers and handling transactions.

You will be fully cross-trained to operate the cash register and can switch to front-end duties as needed, while keeping the store clean, safe, and inviting. The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with strong math skills for cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Lift 30–50 lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting; accommodation possible.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
