Job summary

Michaels Stores in Gurnee, IL is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will assist with stocking, truck unloading, and maintaining in-stock conditions, while supporting store recovery and safety programs. Expect nights, weekends, and early mornings. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and offering solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Rewards program and enroll customers.
• Assist with stocking, truck unloading, and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, in-stock levels, and safety programs.
• Participate in Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
