Job summary

Michaels Springfield, IL is hiring for a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout process. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms while supporting store recovery and compliance with SOPs.

The role involves customer engagement, BOPIS/SFS support, and ongoing training. You will be expected to stand for long periods and work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and store recovery for a well-merchandised store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with customers and team members.
