Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in Anchorage to lead a team of associates and deliver the best customer experience.

You will coach, delegate, and monitor daily tasks while ensuring department coverage and safety across customer interactions and store operations. Responsibilities include supervising customer-facing and back‑of‑house activities, partnering with leadership on merchandising and performance, and occasionally opening/closing or serving as MOD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years in retail or 5 years in retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams and training associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Delegating, following up on tasks, and ensuring department coverage.
• Greet customers, identify solutions, and close sales while maintaining safety.
• Oversee down stocking, inventory, area recovery, and safety walks.
• Possibly open/close the store or serve as MOD as needed.
