Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Team Lead to elevate the shopper experience on the floor and on the front end. You will oversee cash operations, cashier accuracy, queue management, and merchandising standards while driving sales performance and team capability.

The role supports store readiness and presentation and reinforces our mission and core values through daily leadership and coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree in business, logistics, management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front End operations including registers and queue management.
• Serve as the point person for cashiers and ensure accurate transactions.
• Maintain proper tills and register procedures.
• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate shopper experiences including refunds/voids.
• Train and onboard new front end team members on procedures and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor following company standards.
• Greet shoppers and ensure consistent customer service across areas.
• Support opening/closing activities and flow of merchandise backroom to floor.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand standards store-wide.
• Communicate priorities to team and monitor daily KPIs.
