Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician I for the Syracuse, NY area. You will install, maintain, and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, across an assigned territory.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic PC/electronic skills, and willingness to travel and work rotating shifts. We offer hourly pay with overtime, holidays, paid vacation, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and a company vehicle for business use.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills and basic electronic skills.
• Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Rotating and weekend shifts with morning/afternoon/evening start times.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls.
