Job summary

North Country is seeking a Field Service Technician in Madison, WI, providing hands-on, on-site support for grocery and hospitality tech systems. You will troubleshoot, install, and deploy retail solutions, travelling to client sites with a company vehicle. After 6 months, you become eligible for our ESOP ownership.

We value hands-on tech experience, IT networking knowledge, and independence in problem solving to keep client operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer and technology experience.
• Experience with IT, networking, Wi‑Fi, computer hardware and basic troubleshooting is a plus.
• Self-motivated problem-solver who can troubleshoot issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Learn POS systems through our comprehensive training program.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues remotely and on-site.
• Install and deploy cutting-edge retail systems.
• Travel to client sites (company vehicle provided).
• Be the expert who gets businesses back up and running when systems go down.
• Lead installation projects from delivery through documentation.
